PRIVACY POLICY:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

SECURITY POLICY

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

REFUND POLICY

Gerharz Equipment must be notified within 7 days of receipt of goods on any return. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. Please call customer service at 315-436-4653 to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) within 7 days of purchase date. Returned goods may be subject to restocking fee plus freight. Items must be new, unused and in the original package. Items will be inspected before credit is issued. Not all items are in stock, some items need to be special ordered and are subject to availability. All special orders for non-stock merchandise cannot be cancelled or returned.

All merchandise shortages or damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. For truckline deliveries: freight damages are the responsibility of the carrier. Make note of any damage present on the freight bill before you sign it. File any claims directly with the carrier.

SHIPPING / DELIVERY POLICY

Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Federal Express and UPS deliveries occur Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If you require express or 2 day shipping, please call us at 315-463-0639 for charges.

Please note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Some larger items are dimension based and freight will be charged based on the dimensional weight.

In many instances, the carrier will deliver your order to your entrance or designated delivery area. Other larger items or orders are delivered by a common carrier. For these items, a loading dock is needed. If one is not available, delivery personnel will bring your order to the tailgate of the truck and you are responsible for unloading the items and bringing them into your building.

Make sure you provide a street address for us to ship to. We cannot use a P.O. Box for deliveries.

PLEASE NOTE: Out of state orders WILL NOT be charged sales tax. In state orders will be charged to the zip code of billing.
